Detail
Like all our products, the 100% cotton OONA Home plaid is OEKO-TEX® certified: double cotton gauze for the exterior, cotton for the filling. So of course, all this “cotOONAde” gives it an exceptional softness, a voluptuous suppleness, and an irresistible comfort.
But whether you want to cocoon or escape, the proof of our loyalty to an object lies in its ability to stay by our side. And OONA Home’s plaid excels at this as it does not change. Over time, it remains resistant and breathable. It invariably likes to be washed and dried with no need to be ironed. It is easy. Easy to care of, easy to take along, easy to match.
cotOONAde
A word like a fantasy. The contraction of our name and our material. The illustration of our washed cotton percale’s singular character.
From smooth to not so smooth, from crumpled to soft, from gentle to cozy, all our products are 100% cotton or made of cotton and linen. No trace of synthetic. One texture per product category to play, mix, match, create. And start over again.
Because we wanted a range as soft as baby linen, we opted for the best. Cotton, to respect linen making ancestral tradition. 200TC cotton percale, resulting from a tight and regular weaving where each thread overlaps the other for the highest quality. A principle, the garment dye one borrowed from ready-to-wear for a very special patina.
And should you still have some doubts, here are some of its qualities. Cotton percale is hypoallergenic, soft and flexible. Adaptable to all seasons, it knows how to envelop with a freshness and lightness sensation. With its longer fibers, it lasts. Over time, without alteration and fear for the washing, it stays timelessly smooth and silky. And because it knows how to hold itself, not need of ironing either.
Thought to never leave you.

Our dyes : Garment dyeing
Garment dyeing is certainly an Anglicism in French. But above all, it’s a way of telling you about a process adopted for our dyes. At OONA Home, we love to talk about softness, patina and slightly aged cotton. But telling you this story is really about telling you the Garment Dye’s one.
So, what is exactly the garment dye? Quite simply, the modern dyeing’s invention. It consists of applying the dye once the cotton threads have been woven and the pieces made. And not the other way round, as it was the case for a long time. Dyed in the mass, the cotton obtains a softer, more subtle and natural finish.
And on top of that, it is generous. It allows us to create rich and tonal colour palette. To sublimate the seams, the material, the finishes. To preserve our covers, sheets and pillowcases shape and feel. Garment dye follows fashion, colour follows form.
So, all this is interesting, beautiful, but would be nothing without the certification that goes with it. To cuddle you, to dry you, to inspire you: we will always be there! But let’s do it ethically. That’s why we are Oeko Tex certified. What does this mean? That we meet all international certification criteria’s for the absence of harmful substances in our textiles.
Transparency, secure manufacturing, commitment, these are our guarantees. A bias that is just as essential as the rest.
OONA Home protects.
